Seasons

A season is an allusion to life on both a microcosmic and macrocosmic level.
The truths that can be gleaned by looking at the natural process through which nature cycles, has a value of unexplored depth.
From this, one can learn how to prepare for changes and conquer the rudimentary elements of our lives.
Weathering
We all endure seasons of life. In those seasons everyone and everything goes through a process of weathering.
In scientific terms this refers to the “disintegration or alteration of rock in its natural or original position at or near the Earth’s surface through physical, chemical , and biological processes induced or modified by wind, water, and climate.” -Encyclopedia Britannica
Fundamentally like those rocks we are often exposed to elements beyond our control, elements that chip away portions of our substance.

Weathering can be hard on any structure.
That is why weather proofing so important.
Weatherproofing, is the act of doing what is necessary to fortify the structure so that it may withstand the elemental processes and endure for an extended period of time.
Just as structures are weatherproofed so can we weatherproof our lives against the known and unknown, as well as the expected and unexpected occurrences in our lives.
To properly fortify one must have the requisite knowledge
Let us begin

Life is cyclical.
What has once been, will again be once more.
Acknowledging and understanding this is the first step to strengthening one’s resolve.
There is nothing new under the sun and thus, it is assured that someone, somewhere has gone through something similar.
There is more than enough information available regarding how to overcome any situation.
Seek it.
The Science of it all
Seasons are natural cycles that occur due to our earth’s rotation as it orbits around the sun
This is a natural principle, a phenomenon finding its basis in planetary science.
Interestingly enough, revolutions symbolize life and offer context and insight into achievement processes and physiological progression.
Seasons cycle through spring, summer, fall and winter.
We too are subject to seasons, or stages in life
Just as this occurs in our planetary structure, so it does in our bodily structure.
.
Spring

Spring is a season of youth and beginnings.
It symbolizes birth and renewal.
In spring seedlings sprout, butterflies emerge metamorphosed, flower blossoms, and green shoots burst from trees.
There is so much yet to come.
The world is full of expectancy and every part of our being bears fruitfulness.
This is how most start our journeys to excellence; expectant and full of promise.
There is nothing more inspiring than new beginnings and pure and unfettered hope.
When everything is new and fresh one is empowered and energized.
You will recognize this season as one of high energy, plenteous ideas, vivid imaginations and unstoppable drive.
The horizon seems so distant but the stars seem to be in one’s grasp.
There is no doubt that all things are possible.
One can almost certainly expect some rain in this season.
The coming season is often proceeded by many showers.
Remember “April showers bring May flowers.”
It is he, who looks at the whole that realizes this too shall pass
It is he who will stand firmly and expectant for greater things to come in the approaching season.
Summer
Summer symbolizes arrival.
It is a season of fullness and zest.
Everything is at the peak of its cycle.
Flowers are full bloom.
The sun is high in the sky.
The world is hot.
This is the prime.
In your achievement cycle this is the best part.
This is when you find yourself in your stride.
All the showers make way for sunshine, and it seems as if all your efforts are paying off.
The horizon draws closer, and you hold the stars in your hand.
This is where most people wish to be.
This is the sweet spot.
It only comes after spring.
Fullness of bloom comes only after the nourishment one seeks in spring.
Remember you get out in accordance to what you put in.
Although summer is the most lively season; it is also the most tumultuous.
Storms occur frequently.
Many can brew up without notice.
Some are ultimately destructive forces that can destroy everything in its path.
Knowing this helps one prepare for this.
It helps to know that even though one may have to endure some pretty tough storms, it is a reasonable price to pay to walk in sunshine, and hold the stars in your hand.

Summer, no matter how inviting, always precedes Autumn, a time when the sun does not sit at its zenith.
If not prepared, one can suffer great trepidation regarding one’s transition into the new season.
This is understandable.
Sometimes descending a mountain after standing on the summit is difficult and it brings sadness.
It is never easy to turn your back to the sun.
One must make peace with this.
Use the foreknowledge to help live a meaningful existence.
Make every moment count.
Even if one rages and kick against the progression, Summer will always bow to the regality of Autumn.
When passing through this season always remember, there are still greater things to come.
Autumn
Autumn symbolizes maturity.
It is a majestic season.
Leaves are hues of gold and orange.
The earth speaks of time passed, lessons learned, and of wisdom gained.
It is the season where all things come together.
It is a time when God crowns the earth with silvery dew, and puts the evening sun to rest against a cool repose.

However, In every season there is beauty and pain.
Unfortunately, fall is also the season of waning.
Things look different and they feel different.
Vim and Vigor slowly dissipate.
Things slow down
Ones vision becomes more panoramic
It can be daunting and an intense period of adjustment.
One should remember,
What one begins to lose in vigor one gains in intellect, experience, and wisdom.
Though the trees lose their leaves, the do not lose their beauty.
They simply exchange one form of beauty for another.
In the waning autumn sun they stand, not as before with leaves of green, but with bared limb, statuesque, and branches outstretched to the heavens as if gathering all corners of earth to hold counsel.
We too can be like that tree.
Although a new season approaches, there is still so much to look forward to.
Winter

Winter symbolizes Graduation.
It brings a finality to passing things.
Purposes are completely fulfilled.
Matured things are given rest.
If a person has worked hard to achieve, this is when one finds the fulfillment in those accomplishments
It is a time of reflection and gifting.
It is when one passes on the keys to every kingdom and treasure he or she has opened, and blesses the world manifold.
It is mature hands forming the world and engaging in the divine building of new visions and hopes.
It is the syrup sweet part that remains of a cool glass of tea on a warm summers day.

One who prepares for this knows that passage into winter is not to be feared but to be exalted.
It is not the end.
It is the crowning jewel.
It is the building of legacies and palaces of opportunity.
When one realizes this, one no longer sees winter as biting and un-comforting but welcoming.
So it is wise to keep in mind,

In the middle is where you find the juicy bits.
The one who jumps from end to end, whose feet have never touched the middle, may experience the high of making it. They will never fully appreciate the win, or understand how to get there again.
