  • The Red Pill or the Blue One: Altering the Programming

    March 5th, 2022

One of the most impactful movies in the late 90s was the Matrix.

The Matrix was legitimately deep; if you have ever watched, you will have a more considerable understanding of what I am implicating.

There was so much to wade through. On the surface, The Matrix was an action-packed thriller, so to speak. But, beneath the surface, it was a commentary on human behavior and its relation to the world.

The entertainment value was certainly top-notch; the gems within the script were invaluable.

    Lessons from the Matrix: Programming

    The film centered on programming!

The Matrix was one big mainframe, and all humanity was plugged into the mainframe. Although it seemed as if humanity lived their own existence, the reality was, they were not. Instead, they were responding to code. The lives they lived resulted from a program running within the mainframe.

    How did the Programming work?

Every human hooked to the mainframe was programmed to behave in specific ways that formed their reality. However, there was a universe beyond that perceived reality. In that reality (external) is where the code was run.

If a person realized that they were being programmed, escaped the mainframe, and learned the code. Then, they could use the code to shape whatever reality they wished.

Seems super complicated at first, but it’s not that complicated at all.

    The reality of Human Programming

    From birth, we are programmed.

What we know or understand is a byproduct of our environment.

In the long run, we become the product of the environment we live in –James Clear.

So, we only know what we know.

But when we expand our world, we welcome new information which permits us to reform our current knowledge. Our reality shifts and reforms.

    Glitches in the Matrix

    Not all programming is positive.

Not all programming that we have uploaded into our consciousness is practical. Sometimes it’s downright damaging, as the code is full of bugs and viruses. That is detrimental. Our code affects everything in our lives. How we approach life, others, and success. It all results from programming.

    Reprogramming is a Thing

Good news! If you can be programmed, you can be reprogrammed.

All the old code can be overwritten. But it’s likely to take the same process and the same amount of time to reprogram as it did to build the initial source code.

If you don’t realize it now, you will come to realize that most of your programming occurs passively. You are a sponge. People are highly suggestible.

    Our five senses are inlets.

Information enters our consciousness on a daily.

Our brain is constantly processing that information and formulating a response.

    Programming to Habit

    We are creatures of habit.

    Essentially habits result from repetition.

If you repeat something enough times, it will transform into a habit.

So If you receive a specific input enough time, it becomes part of your mental framework. That framework shapes everything you do. Thus, you have essentially been programmed.

    Transforming the programming

“One of the most practical ways to eliminate a bad habit is to reduce exposure to the cue that causes it.” _ James Clear

Change your environment change your life.

Once you have eliminated the cue (triggers) you can start the reprogramming needed.

You will see once you change the way you think success will be inevitable.

  • Don’t Go Low: Live in an Unbounded Reality

    March 1st, 2022

Goals are what we shoot for. Goals are our desires and dreams we wish to see manifested defined.

How Goals and Dreams Tie in

    Individuals have dreams.

We have places we want to be, things we want to do, and ideals of who we wish to become.

And there is a belief that realizing these dreams will leave us fulfilled in a state of bliss. This is perhaps true but not guaranteed.

Nevertheless, a dream is merely a hope and a wish until something is done about it.

    On Setting Goals

Until a goal is set, dreams will never be a reality!

Once a goal is defined, everything else follows.

Therefore, goal setting is so important.
The design of a path forward is mainly dependent on the destination, the desire.

    Dreaming and Reality

While physically, we are somewhat bounded by reality (natural laws), our imaginations are unlimitable. In our minds, as the Star Trek Mantra reads,

“We can boldly go where no man has gone before!” That is amazing.

Wild imaginations (Unbounded Realities) Lead to Extraordinary Outcomes.

As noted in a previous blog post, shoot as far as you can. Then, even if you don’t land at some distant galaxy, you will have made it out of orbit.

You will have done the unimaginable.

And this is what separates people with meteoric successes from ones who live an average existence.

They were unafraid to dream big. That individual did not set the bar low.

    Setting the Bar Low/Bounding Reality

Setting the bar low will ensure you will never get to the destination you hope to arrive at.

“We will only grow as big as we dream; that’s why we must dream big.” – Gabrielle Williams.

Take, for example, someone who asks you to put a number on your value to negotiate your pay.

If the individual has a fear stymying them from proposing a large number, they will give an unreasonably low number.

So they receive what they ask for, nothing more.

When One Realizes They Have Hogtied Their Dream (Bound Reality)

Suppose another individual comes in whom you perceive to have less value than you. For example, they have less experience, education, or know-how. However, they are asked the same question. But unlike you, they are unafraid to dream big and ask for a more significant amount of money. And so they are given a more considerable sum of money.

Then perhaps you are maddened by the propensity of someone else receiving more for doing less.

    Should you be upset? No

Why? Because They asked for an amount they believed matches their perceived value.

Since they thought their worth was high, they placed a higher amount on their value.

It was their mindset prepared the soil to receive more.

    Freeing Yourself from Reality

    Ask, and you will receive.

The individual in the first scenario got what was asked by setting the bar low.

So, by all practical means, that individual should be fulfilled because they received what they said they wanted. But they are not.

While this is a difficult lesson to learn, the importance is that it is understood and changes made.

    Final Words to You

    Remember when dreaming, dream big.

Dream big, vivid dreams so big you must paint them because no one has the imagination to even visualize what you see in your mind’s eye.

Dream so big that anywhere you land beyond your current position will be breathtaking.

“Don’t put limits on yourself. Not every dream will come true, and not every dream is from God. But when your dreams connect with God’s plans, you’ll find open doors that you never thought you’d see.” – Max Lucado.

You get what you ask for.

So, ask with a wholly imaginative heart.

  • Protect Your Energy

When we think of energy, fuel comes to mind. In biological/physiological terms, one thinks of a powering source needed to meet our objectives, to get work done.

    Transference

As humans, we derive our chemical energy to power body processes from food sources.

Those sources transfer nutrients to us, which our body uses to create energy (ATP process)

However this is not a physiology/Biology lesson. I

    Instead, this is about transference.

    Spiritual Energy

We all carry spiritual energy. The energy that we travel with is either positive or negative that precedes and follows us.

Some have powerful fields while others have weaker ones.

Nevertheless, we are all subject to energy transfer.

What does Transfer Mean in (vibration) Spirit?

When we encounter others, there is an energy exchange.

Those who are particularly sensitive to energy fields will immediately feel a change upon meeting another person. Others will be affected over time (after spending some time in the company of others). Meaning others rub off on us.

How does this knowledge work for you? How does it help you?

Positive energy creates a mental state and an environmental state conducive to success.

“There’s a direct connection between positive energy and positive results,” Joe Rogan.

So, If you desire success, you must create ideal circumstances to make that happen. So, your aim is to emit positivity to create a more positive space.

“Energy flows where attention goes!” -James Redfield.

To create and maintain that state of being, place yourself in a position to draw more of that to yourself. You must direct your attention to positive things and people.

You must extract yourself from the negative.

“If you ever walk down a path surrounded by negative energy, look for the fork in the path then cross over to the positive side.” Victoria Addino

Protect your peace and state of mind at all costs.

Using Directed Energy to Increase Momentum

If seeking to increase momentum and focus, seek people with similar energies. This may and may not take effort on your part. However, the more positive you are, the more likely you will draw those people to you.

“You draw the people and events that resonate with the energy you are radiating. You attract what you are, so be your best.” Lynda Field

    Here is the kicker.

If you always seem to draw negative people or find yourself in adverse situations, you must ask questions.

What are you emitting? We typically attract what we are.

    Self-Evaluation Time

If you don’t like what you are attracting or the things occurring in your life, chances are some internal assessment is necessary. Change is necessary.

Remember that if you want the world to change, your circumstances to change, or your outcomes to change, you must become the change you desire from the world.

  • Want to Draw People: Become Priceless

If you are looking for success in any venture, whether service-related or otherwise, you must put people first.

Forming connections are what pushes you forward and take you to the next level.

Focusing on people is what draws more people to you.

    Build Connections: Draw People

Building those meaningful connections begin with your authenticity, your ability to communicate that, and then listening for understanding.

Authenticity is a Critical Component of Drawing People

Why is authenticity important in forming connections?

    Michelle Tillis Lederman said

“It is through the strength of what is genuine that meaningful connections build into relationships.”

    Nothing else will stand.

People can sense a facade from miles away. So, authenticity is important.

“You can only lean against something strong” – Tamsen Webster.

    Draw People with Genuine Conversation

When approaching someone you wish to join your team, use your service, or become a long-time client, have a genuine conversation.

As Shawn Q said in a powerful forum,

“Don’t be a salesperson be a professional. Professionals create an experience a client will never forget.”

    Communicate Effectively

    Treat people with respect.

Treat them as individuals, who have their own unique experiences, likes, loves, and interests. People are not cookies. So don’t use cookie cutter approaches.

    Be genuinely interested.

    But, listen above all.

Find out who the person is you want to welcome on to your team, to become your client, that you wish to serve.

“Make having a conversation with you irresistibly valuable.”- Shawn Q

How you Communicate can Draw people or Push Them Away

Be careful with how you communicate.

Remember It’s not only what you say, but it’s how you say it.

“The words you use in your communication will determine the chances of your next meeting with the person!” – Anuj Jasani.

You want the next meeting because that is why you are there in the first place. So, with every person you meet, be intentional. Be true. Above all be you!

And if you really want to draw people,

    Do not sell serve

    Don’t tell ask

    Do not push Help

Do not control Lead – Shawn Q.

You will be surprised who you will draw.

    This is a guarantee!

People are drawn to the light, so be the light they need!

  • A Dream a Heart’s Wish: Write! A Written Goal is the Heart’s Transcriber

    February 21st, 2022
Photo by Zichuan Han from Pexels

Goals, Goals, Goals I know you have heard mentioned a thousand times before, so here is to a thousand and one. Yes, I know it can be repetitive. Repetition is good; it is the seed of automaticity, which is what you want. You want to make the idea of setting goals second nature. However, this article is not about setting goals (per se).

    A Secret!

This article is about one big secret! A secret to manifesting turning your dreams into reality.

Wishes are what we hope beyond reason will happen.

Dreams are the things we think are possible but have not yet set on a path to achieve.

However, there is one thing that can turn those dreams into reality.

Do you wish to know the secret?

The primary ingredient in the recipe for manifesting your biggest, wildest, and most extraordinary dreams is…

    What is it already!

    Okay, I relent

The primary ingredient to jump-start the manifestation process is … Writing down your goals!

    Write it Down!

That is it; write your goals down. (Not complicated at all, right?)

For many, it is because, frankly, in the days of automation, texting, and keyboarding, writing can seem cumbersome.

Nevertheless, for this to work, you must write your goals down!

    But I hate to write

Can I type it: (No, you must write it)

Maybe I can set a recording: (No, you must write it)

    Do I really have to?

    Antoine de Saint-Exupéry said,

A goal without a plan is just a wish!

Meaning, without writing it down, there is nothing to tether what is in your head to reality.

Remember the phrase seeing is believing.

Something about seeing something written down unlocks something in your mind.

    Mark Victor Hansen said

By recording your dreams and goals on paper, you set in motion the process of becoming the person you most want to be.

    Are you convinced yet?

    More reasons to support writing

An article from Lifehack.org has this to say on the importance of writing things down,

“When we write something down, research suggests that as far as our brain is concerned, it’s as if we were doing that thing. Writing seems to act as a kind of mini-rehearsal for doing”

Writing increases our capacity for acting.

Do you need a little more?

How about a little statistical evidence.

    According to Peter Drucker,

People who write down their goals are 42% more likely to achieve them than those who don’t.

While those are not staggering numbers, those numbers are pretty significant and telling. Your likelihood of manifesting your dreams increases simply by writing them down.

    The Follow-up Question.

So you are saying all I have to write my goals down?

    Hold up! Wait a Minute!

I am certainly not saying that.

You cannot merely write down your goals and forget them.

Throwing the paper in some obscure place and expecting this to work for you is a no-go.

Don’t think you can use the paper as a coaster for your drinks and expect it to work for you.

Remarkably, writing it down is step one to solidify something real is happening here. However consistent action pulls the trigger catalyzing the manifestation process.

Breaking Down What happens after you write

Once your goals are written, you must keep them in front of you. As someone once said,

“Write down your goals and review them often, don’t let them fade away.”

Because out of sight out of mind.

    Another Challenge

So I am challenging you to take Massive Action.

While it is fresh in your mind, you are inspired, and the light bulb is still on, write your goals down with immediacy.

Without a doubt, you can refine it later.

    Please write it down.

Additionally, place it somewhere you can prominently see it.

You dreamt it now less move to reach it!
