Achievement does not come easy, it is almost always the result of work, “mental or physical effort done in order to achieve a purpose or result” (Merriam Webster).

However, there are levels of effort.

One can put in as little or as much effort as he or she deems necessary.

Assuredly, nothing is accomplished without some minimal level of effort.

If your desire is an achievement of any kind, you must exert some effort.

No one else is going to make your dream a reality but you.

There is no genie that is going to make all your dreams come true, it is solely up to you.

Your level of achievement is solely dependent on the amount of applied effort.

Thus, to begin, one must decide on the level of achievement they desire. Then,  one must apply the action necessary to achieve it.

Greater and lasting achievement typically requires the application of greater effort.

This type of effort is what is referred to as grinding.

Grinding is not pleasant.

” It applies to physical or intellectual work involving great and often strenuous exertion” (Merriam Webster).

Grinding requires a lot of a person. It requires one to move beyond his or her comfort zone and implies exhausting all possible avenues to become successful. It means “never letting up, staying on top of things, being consistent, showing up, and putting in the work” (Merriam Webster).

Grinding means, working, especially when you don’t feel like it.

Ultimately, it is consistently pushing oneself to new limits.

It is an absolutely necessary ingredient for high achievers.

Your results will always reveal your efforts.

The achievement always goes to those who put in the work.
