Validation is as important to the human spirit as oxygen is to the human body. The exchange of fresh oxygen into the body sustains us. Validation empowers and vitalizes.
Validation, as defined by Merriam-webster is a confirmation, it is the act of recognizing, establishing, or illustrating worthiness.
As humans from time to time, we must all be reminded of our worthiness, purpose, and the legitimacy of our actions.
We must be reminded that we matter.

Sometimes we get lost in the fray of life.
We forget.
We must be inspired to remember.

We are often told we must not seek for others to validate us.
We must not look to others to tell us our worth.
However,

This is a great conundrum.
As a result, we have come to believe that we do not need others, that we only need ourselves. This is a destructive truth.
One inspired man once said, “no man is an island.”
Yes, we must accept the totality of ourselves apart from the opinions of others, but we very much need others.
We very much need encouragement, appreciation, and confirmation.
Many a tragedy has occurred due to vain efforts to seek validation in the wrong things from the wrong people.
We as humans need validation and that is undeniable, to deny such a fact is an absurdity.
In case you have not heard it today. I want to tell you that,
You have a purpose.
